You will work with an accounting firm that audits municipalities and not-for-profit organizations of varying sizes in the USA. The firm also has a tax practice in the USA and provides accounting services.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
-Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
-1-3 years of relevant work experience is a plus.
-Fluent in English.
-Proficiency in the use of computer programs.
-Willingness to learn, openness to new ideas, as well as ability to innovate new processes are all pluses.
Primary responsibilities:
-Entry-level staff audit work, under the supervision of an Audit Supervisor/In-Charge.
-Work with an audit team of 2-6 people.
-The In-Charge prepares an audit plan, and you will assist in executing the plan, including tests of transactions, assessing controls and preparing financial statements.
-Work on tax practice during the peak tax season and/or work on accounting services assignments as needed.
-Other Accounting duties/tasks/projects assigned.
