Job Summary:
The Asst. Human Resource Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, training, and enforcing company policies and practices in coordination with the Corporate HR. She/he will be responsible for ensuring the completion of a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the HR department. This includes comparing HR laws to current policies and procedures, drafting templates for HR documents and working with other members of the department to oversee the onboarding process for company employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate, oversee and ensure the recruitment plan and calendar based on operational needs;
2. Preparation of internal documents and correspondences in alignment with the Corporate HR;
3. Handle onboarding of new hires and monitor day-to-day concerns in Cebu area needing advice from HR;
4. Maintain physical and digital files for employees assigned in Cebu area;
5. Recommend employee engagement plans and activities to maintain camaraderie;
6. Collaborate with outsourced, when necessary and inform Corporate HR for alignment on policies and guidelines;
7. Recommend budget for approval;
8. Handle employee/labor relations related matters in coordination with the Corporate HR;
9. Establish coordination with Corporate HR's Talent Acquisition/Employee Reations, Admin & Wellness, & Learning & Development sections of Corporate HR for alignment in policies & procedures;
10. Oversee the timekeeping of office-based employees as well as field based, as assigned;
11. Handle other projects as assigned by the immediate Superior
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of AB/BS Psychology, Behavioral Science course, or other 4-year related course.
Experience: At least to two (2) years in a supervisory role
