Job Purpose:

Delivers HR services to the designated business units. Be on top of all HR issues and ensuring that there are pro-active team to be able to deliver effective and efficient service delivery on workforce planning, development and employee and labor relations across the business;

Acts as one of the Center for Excellence Representatives providing

the value-adding and strategic HR interventions to be to achieve the company’s objectives

at any given time;

To be able to provide effective conflict resolutions strategies,

training and coaching, continuous improvement plans, customer (BU)- focus, and

compliance as necessary;

Contributes to the development of Corporate HR policy and

practice;

Technical Competencies

Organizational Development:

Works as a business partner with departmental / management teams to understand their key drivers and objectives and provide value adding solutions and strategic HR interventions to support them in achieving those objectives in compliance with the company policies and is aligned with the mission vision and under the government employment rules and regulations.Ensures the provision of a consistent, professional HR service across designated business units and professional service departments, underpinned by compliance with company policy and employment rules and regulations and the principles of HR good practices.Works with the HR Officers ensuring that they maintain their continuous professional development and are developed to maximize their performance in their role. To contribute to professional development within the whole HR team.

Policy Making:

Carries out wider development of HR policies and practices, taking responsibility for developing one or more specific areas of policy and leading the consultation, ratification and implementation of these policies.

Recruitment & Employee Engagement:

Advises and supports officers/managers in developing effective team structures and job roles that deliver required services in the most effective and efficient manner and the recruitment, selection and appointment of staff with the required competencies to these posts.Supports and collaborates with the Recruitment & Employee Engagement Team in fulfillment of HR Activities across all business unit.Supports the workforce planning process within designated business unit and professional service departments as part of the annual planning process and other strategic planning to ensure they have the workforce with the right mix of skills to meet current and future requirements.

Employee Relations:

Provides advice and support to officers/managers on a wide range of employee relations issues including discipline, performance, grievance and absence issues to enable effective people management of all staff in line with company policy and employment rules and regulations.Advises and supports officers/managers in the effective management of change, working with union representatives and staff to deliver required changes.

Learning & Development:

Contributes to the development of officers/managerial and leadership capability within designated business units and professional service departments.Works with corporate HR colleagues on actions to increase the people management skills of the managers and leaders across different business units.
