The Role
The core function of a SEO content specialist is to understand the business goals and users’ journey & needs (B2C & B2B), develop and execute a content strategy that drives brand, thought leadership and conversions. Collaborating across a range of markets in Asia to deliver relevant content that brings the business and users together.
Key responsibilities will include:
Understand process of capturing insights of consumer demands from particular consumer segments (for both candidate and hirer)Develop SEO content strategy and framework (based on the insights) that meets the business objectives and aligned with marketing goals.Develop editorial calendar and content ideation framework and ensure in-country markets' content team are on board.Guide and assist in SEO content optimization, content distribution and content marketing strategy (owned, earned, paid) for online channels and social media platforms to increase marketing specific metrics.Conduct content audits as well as gap analyses.Provide insights and analytics support in channel performance and user’s engagement metrics.Responsible for editorial and style guides including liaising with content writers including freelancers to ensure brand consistency.Be able to develop content briefing to the AgencyLiaising with multiple disciplinary teams when it comes to content planning and deliveryOversee all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and a positive customer experience.Devise and implement improvements to best practices, tools, and processes to an excellent standard and communicate these efficiently across multiple markets. Research and analyze industry related keywords, high competition, quality, longtailAble to write powerful calls-to-action to convert website visitorsWriting effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts within a brandKeeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to stay within search engine guidelines, on and off page strategiesSo, what are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have:-
Excellent English, spoken and written – Bahasa Indonesia, Thai or Cantonese a bonus.Degree in Digital Marketing, Digital Journalism, Digital PR, Communications or relevant field and experiencesMinimum 4 years experiences in SEO content creation and managementStrong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and paid performance marketingStrong analytical skills and firm understanding of web traffic metricsHands on experience with WordPress, CMS, SEMrush or any other SEO toolsBasic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishingSolid understanding of social mediaOutstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems in line with Brand and business goalsAbility to work within a team and independentlyStrong organizational, time management, and analytical skillsProject management and collaboration within department, across department, across countries and agencies.Desired Values
