about the role
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to monitor all financial data and prepare accurate statements.
Accountant responsibilities include FS, BAS, IAS, tax returns and bookkeeping. To be qualified for this role, you should have a degree in accounting and relevant work experience.
Ultimately, you will ensure all the accounting transactions comply with the law and support the company.
Prepare journal entries and help ensure that the month-end close process is performed in a timely and accurate manner with a high level of attention to detailPrepare and coordinate the compilation of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare/manage the timely issuance of monthly/quarterly financial report Complete monthly close activitiesPerform accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactionsMonitor all banking activities in order to detect irregularitiesReconcile and rectify all bank and CC irregularitiesDevelop information tools/management reporting key operating activitiesBuild financial models and manage the analysis, reporting, and monitoring of operating resultsRecording asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account informationMaintaining and balancing subsidiary accounts to the general ledger by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactionsAssisting the financial analysis team with expense forecasting and budgeting when neededCandidate profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance disciplineIn-depth Accounting experienceCPA certification is an advantageWorking knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, Excel, and Word Excellent communication skills including written, oral and presentation capabilitiesExperience meeting critical compliance timelines, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and requirements and delivering on commitments to stakeholdersA genuine career opportunity with great benefits awaits!
