WHAT IS A/AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK?

Our awesome client, a Leading Automated Company based in Australia is looking for a/an deal Costing Clerk to be part of their team.

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for the timely verification / approval and payment of the Group’s vendors with minimal supervision.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?

Verify all invoices in your vendor list dailyApprove all invoices with accurate purchase order or manager signatureRespond to Vendor correspondence dailyEscalate any vendor queries / problems to managementClear reject file in your vendor list by end of each weekPrepare monthly reconciliations by 21st of each month for the previous monthClear the payables alto mail box dailyClear the statements alto mail box dailyEnsure all company records are organized, accurate and available for reviewDevelop a professional working arrangement with Vendors and staffMaintain an organized filing system for all accounting documentsEnsure that overheads, costs and expenses are minimized by carefully controlling and utilizing all resources effectivelyProvide regular feedback to team members on progress towards goalsShares new knowledge with team members with the aim of increasing their professional development and employee engagementContributes to maintaining general housekeeping within department and individual work areasCommunicates to internal and external stakeholders in the appropriate mannerShares knowledge and information in a timely manner with the other Dealership departmentsEnsures customer satisfaction at every stage of the customer experienceIdentifies areas of improvements and contributes with positive suggestionsUses initiative and is pro-activeAny other duties as required from time to time by the Dealer Principal / General Manager.
