Job Summary
To work with the Demand Marketing Lead, as your mentor and daily contact person, to setup, manage, optimise and maintain the paid search campaigns (PPC) being run out of Reed Exhibitions UK (RXUK). To ensure that they are delivered to brief, that all tracking and tagging techniques are applied consistently using the agreed methodology, and use insights to propose improvements and deliver optimisation.
Accountabilities
Setup and manage, the paid search activities for RXUK campaigns associated with Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and other search platformsMaintain and monitor keyword bids, manage daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other metricsProvide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templatesManage Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platformsProvide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other elements of paid search to deliver against briefProvide oversight and manage new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and support the creation of paid search marketing initiativesProvide oversight, manage, and be able to generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiativesKeep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developmentsMonitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools.Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channelsCommunication to team and management on project development, timelines, and resultsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any field required2+ years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC)Experience in a B2B, International and/or multi-region company is a plusSolid experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting toolsProven experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (Google AdWords, Bing AdCenter, etc)Proficiency in managing moderate to large scale PPC accounts in a variety of different business verticalsAdWords / Bing certification a plus.Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyse and draw insights from data sets
