To create, oversee and implement merchandising strategies by ensuring that all deadlines, buying process, forecasting inventory demands and trends, and customer orders are completed in a timely manner. Collaborates with the marketing department to brainstorms new projects, campaigns, and business ideas.PERFORMANCE ANALYSISAnalyzes current and future market trends, monitors competitor’s performance including the release of new styles, pricing, market display and sales performance.Collate industry reports and recognize opportunities by translate learning’s into workable and implementable strategies.Ensures the accuracy of computations on costs and consumption for materials entailed, compute projected SRP, and provide probable profit/loss scenarios.Monitors costing of products to be able to provide accurate histories for decision making.Provide a new selling price for the price increase.Working with the Sales Department, discusses with management recommended volume per designs for the new season.Monitors product salability performance in collaboration with Sales DepartmentEnsures that stocks are properly allocated in the right locations.Checks stock movement of regular and seasonal items and recommends appropriate action on salable and slow-moving itemsManages discount schemes or mark-down activities.Tracks profits and losses and presents them to managementMaintains a comprehensive library of important business data used for tracking and record keeping such as:Salability reportProfit analysisProduction cost estimate Production programCost guidelines of services, materials of contractors Competitors’ salabilityPRODUCT DEVELOPMENTCollates competitive insight and historical performances to Product Development Team during the planning of Seasonal Theme, color, silhouette, prints, fabric, and accessories.Ensures that Design Development Team is supplied with the right and sufficient materials to produce samples all the way up to sizing activities. Checks material samples are consistent with the technical specifications.Create the season’s product mix and allocates the proper volume per design in each category.Create and update the Collection Program and properly disseminates it to concerned parties.Aids the Purchasing team to maintain current supplier relationships while actively searching for new/better partners. Aids the purchasing team by supplying proper data during the negotiation process. Makes recommendations that will empower the purchasers during awarding.Monitors the Production Schedule to make sure that the collection is released on time and/or within the agreed upon scheduling parameters.Seeks the proper action from upper management for major reconsiderations that will affect the Season’s timelines and performance.Works closely with Purchasing and Production should any scheduling conflict or deviation is required by disseminating clear and concise corrective measures.VISUAL MERCHANDISINGCommunicates to the Visual Merchandising Team of any display or communication requirements needed in our concessions.Creates the display guide before the start of the season for each concession stores and taking responsibility for product presentation in the selling area, with the aim of promoting goods to maximize sales.Identifies efficient methods of replenishment to maximize product’s exposure. Discusses with promo girl OIC every start of the season on how merchandise should be displayed and communicated. Does routine visits to ensure that these are implemented and makes necessary improvements.Ensures that all products appear in the right store, at the appropriate time of specified season with the correct quantities’ allocation.Plans for product & brand awareness efforts to maximize salesMARKETINGTogether with the Marketing Head, conceptualizes annual marketing campaigns.Creates a budget and have it approved by management.Plans and identifies requirements such as Photography, talents, product, and location.Leads in the coordination and logistics of activities such as shoots and go-see.Conduct product knowledge orientation to key personnel.Perform all other related duties that maybe assigned from time to time
