WHAT IS AN ASSISTANT MERCHANDISING COORDINATOR?
Our awesome client, a leading/start-up Merchandising company based in US is looking for an Assistant Merchandising Coordinator to be part of their Procurement team.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
Support Global Sr Manager to include but not limited to:
Placing, updating and Receiving Purchase OrdersOrder and project trackingUpdate Project TrackersCoordinate HTS final forms for custom complianceSupport achievement of team initiativesLiaise with team members in PPD import, Logistics, Financial Services, Warehouse, Sales and all other internal partners to ensure customer satisfaction and on time deliveryMaintain exceptional attendanceOther tasks as required/neededContinually suggest and implement ways to lower all costs in an effort to successfully build a cost-out roadmapWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Knowledge and experience with international trade, product development and merchandising (system merchandiser)1-3 years exp supporting a fast-paced department. Previous exp in a buying team preferredIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suit, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint. Exp with Oracle and Smartsheet a plus1+ years in customer service management1+ years in project management4-year college degree preferred but not requiredExperience in promotional/branded merchandise &/or international business a plusPositive, can-do attitudeHighly organized and detail oriented. Ability to track multiple ongoing projectsClear and effective written and verbal communicatorMaintain high levels of professionalism when interacting with BDA employees, customers, and suppliersFlexible with the ability to prioritize and manage to changing demandsWillingness to learn and take on new responsibilitiesCareer interest in Global Sourcing/Supply Chain Management and an aptitude for growth within the departmentTraining provided on entry-level procurement
