Brief Job Scope:The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in managing the day to day store operations. The position is accountable for achieving sales while driving operational efficiencies and maximizing overall customer satisfaction. At times, the Assistant Store Manager is expected to provide full leadership over the Store when the Store Manager is not around.Preferred Qualifications:With Bachelor's DegreeMinimum of 2 years experience in performing managerial responsibilities, leading support/operations associates in retail, and working in a fast-paced, cross-functional work environmentWith experience working in the home improvement retail sectorWith excellent customer service orientationWith strong working knowledge in computer applicationsWilling to be transferred/relocated to other THD branchesResponsibilities:Ensure that each customer receives outstanding customer service.Accurately forecast sales and production needsLead and manage whole store personnelEnsure the availability of displayed stocks both outright and consignment items.Coordinates with audit to address the discrepancy or variances.Work with Marketing to develop strategies for growing brand in all assigned channelsConduct product orientation with the staff.Ensure the maintenance, security and safety of the store.Make overrides and discounting.Conduct performance evaluation of staff, including trainees.Resolved conflicts between staff and the customers.Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirementsPerform other duties as required by the operation manager and top management.
