REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy Professional License in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent (Preferred but not required).At least 2 years of working experience in financial reporting and/or related fields and basic business sense.AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIESBudgeting, Forecasting & ControllingCoordinates with business units to collect, organize, and analyze financial and other statistical data to build bottom’s up OPEX budget & forecast.Tracks and analyzes variance/s between actual OPEX and budget/ forecast and have meaningful discussion with business partners to resolve or understand/ help assess go forward impact.Prepares actual vs budget reports.Works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, accruals and reversals.Helps in cost center usage and maintenance.Helps in tracking business functional KPIs through creation of relevant reports and providing few key insights.Helps ensure that major OPEX items like promotions and campaigns are rolled out efficiently and generate the desired ROI.Helps analyze current and past results, study trends and make recommendations for cost improvement.Helps in creation of budgeting and forecasting framework and policies.Management ReportingLiaises with business units and Accounting on new productivity and cost saving initiatives, and prepares business cases & simulations on ad hoc basis to support strategic and tactical business decisions.Prepares reports required both by internal and external users.Supports financial accounting, if necessary.OthersAdheres to Company’s code of ethics and policies.Remains competent and current through self-directed professional reading, developing professional contacts with colleagues, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses as required by the immediate supervisor.
