Overview
This key position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stores making sure operations run smoothly and effectively. The duties include motivating the team, managing store resources, undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, cash management, and developing store strategies. Critical role includes ensuring that sales targets are achieved, and operational efficiencies are consistently practiced. This position is directly reporting to the Retail Trade Area Manager assigned to handle the region.
Functions
Deliver excellent service in the store to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionMotivate the store team to meet sales objectives by training, coaching, and mentoring staff. Provides the team with a stimulating and supportive environmentDrives sales for the store and ensuring that profitability is maximizedRespond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional mannerEnsure that the store is complying with health and safety regulations.Prepare sales reports for weekly updates and Monthly Business ReviewUndertake store administration duties such as managing the store budgetAudits inventory levels of POS items and merchandising materials. Conducts stock forecasting as needed to ensure stock levels are within acceptable volume and adequate to achieve sales targetsHire, train and organizes staff member schedules and shiftingManages Sales performance and ensures that sales targets of the store are met and exceededIdentifies system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiencyEnsures store aesthetic is maintainedEmployment Standards
