This position delivers Human Resource services with specific responsibility for providing information to employees regarding policies and regulations; addressing a variety of issues and/or providing general support; maintaining records, files and databases of personnel actions, evaluations and assisting in ensuring conformance to all applicable Human Resources regulatory and program requirements.
This position performs a wide range of duties within a framework set by the Human Resources department. This position assists in hiring procedures, implementation of talent development activities, compensation administrative duties and other assigned tasks and is typically responsible for the administration of two or more Human Resource disciplines
Primary Job Duties/Functions are as follows:
Maintain thorough knowledge of personnel policies and proceduresMay function as a group participant on special Human Resource projectsPerform routine and more complex human resources projectsMay interface with groups inside and outside the organizationInput personnel/position changes and other information (e.g., salaries, locations, authorized access, etc.) into computerized databasesUpdate and maintain various logs/reportsOther duties as assignedBasic Job Requirements:
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirementsMust have significant experience in both RECRUITMENT and SOURCING.Advance Microsoft Excel knowledgeAbility to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitorsJob related technical knowledge necessary to complete the jobAbility to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelinesAbility to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective mannerPreferred Qualifications:
RPO (Recruitment process outsourcing) background preferred.Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, or applicable HR accreditationDemonstrated problem-solving skills of a complex natureDemonstrated ability to be discreet with confidential company and employee informationExperience providing consultation to managers and HR staffExcellent written and oral communication skillsProficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentationsBroad knowledge of internal database applications for designated disciplineWhat Fluor can offer:
