Education:
Bachelor in Finance, Banking, Business Admin, Accounting, Economics or any business related course
Overview:
As part of the FM Regulatory Operations Circle, you will be responsible to ensure that ING Bank NV and its subsidiaries (the Bank) fulfil their transaction reporting obligations under the relevant regulations.
The function enables and safeguards Complete, Accurate, and Timely reporting of transactions as recorded in various front office systems to the regulatory authorities globally.
Proactive and effective management of the high operational and regulatory risks that the Bank is exposed to under the various transaction reporting regulations globally (EMIR, MiFID II, MMSR, SMMD, HKMA, MAS, Primary Dealership Reporting, ASIC, and CANADA).
If you are good at:
• OTC derivatives products and their processing and trade life cycles (gained in processing, product control, middle office, financial markets business management)
• Exceptions Management- Leverages current knowledge in handling and resolving transaction reporting exception queues and backlogs.
• Data Analysis- Analyze large set of complex and relevant data and deliver excellently substantiated information using standard data analytics techniques and tools which gives added value or direct impact in the transaction reporting reconciliation activities or processes
• Control- Has full appreciation of the job as a control function and is conscious of consequences from mishandles or omitted controls in regulatory operations If you are:
• Someone who is organizationally savvy and knows how to make connections across geographies, and businesses
• Resilient individual and able to work under pressure
• A confident communicator with influencing skills
• Able to adapt in a fast-changing (regulatory and work) environment while achieving a controlled operations and processing mindful of operational, reputational, and regulatory risks If you can:
• Organize, analyze and interpret large quantities of data, extract trends, and communicate course of action in line with findings and thorough follow up until findings are solved
• Apply knowledge of reconciliation platforms
• Determine right solutions and act on it at a short notice
• Keep an eye for the continuous improvement and advancing the quality and the effectiveness of the control environment.
