Cost Accounting Specialist

The Cost Accounting Specialist is in charge of the overall financial performance of the business. He/She will work with the commissary management team to ensure delivery of the business performance versus Budget and Target. This includes closing the books, actual financial performance analysis, outlook, budget, and target preparations and monitoring various key performance indicators.

This position will provide financial advisory and strategic support to management and other departments towards achieving business objectives. This position will be working closely with other departments and other cost management teams within Supply Chain Finance, as well as the respective Business Unit Head and Finance team to translate initiatives to financial plans, assess risks and plan for their mitigation and identify opportunities for improvement.

Manages periodic requirements of manufacturing systems to ensure timely and accurate reporting with meaningful analysis of dataManages preparation and execution of annual standard cost rollManages processes involving the establishment of standard costs of new parts and review and analysis of standard costs for existing partsAnalyzes the purchase price variance general ledger accountPerforms reporting activities throughout the month on margins, PPV and other metrics to ensure timing and accuracy of standards and gross marginSupports the development of and reviews analysis reports with manufacturing department heads to formulate corrective actions

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business related course.With at least 2 years of working experience in Manufacturing and LogisticsThis position requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.Candidate must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna.
