Director for Corporate Finance

The Director for Corporate Finance provides both operational and programmatic support to the organization. The CFO manages the finance unit and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization. The Director for Corporate Finance reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and directly assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works with the Chief Finance Officer on the strategic vision including fostering and cultivating stakeholder relationships, especially in the areas of finance, treasury, budgeting and accounting.

2.    Provides Management financial reports, business analytics, financial ratios with corresponding analyses and variances with the action plan and its implementing guidelines in addressing these variances.

3.    Participates in developing new businesses by identifying new funding opportunities, drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness of prospective service delivery

4.   Assesses the benefits of prospective contracts and advises the Executive Committee on program designs and implementation matters

5.    Ensures adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is approved and available in the areas of financial services, cash management, disbursement, investment management, budgets, risks and supply chain

6.    Oversees management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including but not limited to organizational revenue and expenses, development and monitoring of organizational budgets

7.    Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating critical measurements, determining production of funds, resolving problems and implementing change

8.    Manages excess funds and managed funds effectively and efficiently through investments

9.    Prepares and reports financial results, risks and risks mitigations to the executive committee, Board Committees and the Board of directors

10. Maintains relation with the external auditors and investigates their findings and recommendations

11. Provides the Executive Committee regular updates on external financial, market and operation climate affecting the organization

12. Manages Accounting, Treasury, Risk Administration, Insurance, Property Management and Government Regulatory Compliance

Qualifications:

1.    At least ten (10) years as senior finance manager, deputy chief finance officer or director for finance

2.    With established, strong connection and/or relationship with banking sector and other players in the financial market

3.    Extensive experience in car and heavy equipment dealership and/or automotive industry

4.    Must be a CPA

5.    Master in Finance of Business Administration is an advantage
