QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree, in Finance, Accounting, Management, or Legal-related courseMinimum of 10 years of work experience related in insurance Knowledge of relevant government laws and regulations requiring corporate compliance by any of the different functional areas in the company as well as the organization as a whole.Effectively managing insurance as a key strategy for risk management in line with the organization’s risk appetite in order to optimize the goals of the organizationKnowledge of risk management principles and tools (e.g., frequency and effect matrix) and the ability to apply them in various situations to identify and mitigate risks in the different functional areas in the organization.Knowledge of the business continuity management system and the ability to implement the various aspects of business continuity management across the various functions of the organization to ensure the company’s resilienceJOB SUMMARY
Manages the establishment and implementation of effective insurance programs for the Company’s insurable risks on commercially reasonable terms. As the Company’s business, assets and operations are exposed to insurable risks, such as natural catastrophe, machinery breakdown, political violence and liabilities to third parties, among others, an effective insurance program is a key risk transfer tool that provides mitigation of the effects the Company‘s exposure to such insurable risks.Manages the Company’s insurance claims to ensure that claims are promptly notified, filed, documented, adjusted, settled and paid
