The Network Administrator must maintain the essential hardware of a company’s network, stations and other remote offices, such as cables, hubs, switches, routers, networking softwares. Also in charge of installing updates to software and troubleshooting system issues. The Network Administrator decides how and when to change configurations and apply it to various servers, computers, and network systems, and determine what equipment or software needs to be purchased when it comes time to upgrade the network.
Success in this role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Fully support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate, remote offices and company station networksManaging subcontractors involved with network installationMaximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshootingResponsible for internet optimization and capacity managementInstall and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services.Ensures that all network systems are functioning and communicating properly. Systems include server hardware, server software, firewalls, routers, network switches, VPN devices, cabling (Ethernet and telephone), and other related network systems.Qualifications for the Role:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related technology course.At least 4 years of experience in the field of network administration, preferably with Extensive network engineering and troubleshooting experience.Adept in Network design, routing and VLAN switching, software-defined technology and Internet protocol addressing managementDemonstrates strong in:1. Effective communicators who explain complex terms2. With problem solving skills3. With good time management skills4. Collaborator.Above average verbal and written communication skills.Working knowledge of web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations).
