Our company provides professional and technical expertise to a wide range of Victorian residential volume builders. Due to continued success and growth we are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic engineer to join our team, we would also consider applicants with some experience.
The Position:
Suited for a full time employeeYou will be tasked with producing a detailed technical design & documentation for residential/volume housing engineering projectsSite visits will be included to assist with the teaching/learning process.You will be working with a team of engineers and drafters who will be providing training and guidance on a regular basis.Professionally liaising with clients, contractors, drafters, builders and architectsSkills Required:
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural) or similar.Basic skills in Spacegass would be an advantageSkills in AutoCAD, Microsoft excel, would be an advantage as all our engineers need to use these programs in the design process.Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.Although no previous temporary works design experience is required, a motivated, enthusiastic attitude to learning is.Ability to interpret the requirements of Australian standards and building codesAbility to handle pressure in a fast paced service environmentProficient English written and verbal communication skillsExcellent time management and organizational skills, and an ability to work to agreed deadlinesWhat we Offer
