Qualifications:

• At least 3 years’ experience in training delivery, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Teams, Forms, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in online training platforms and tools (ie WebEx)

• Must be available to join immediately/15 days notice

• Must be willing to report in Iloilo (M-F) nightshift schedule 

Nice to have

• Experience in conducting needs analysis

• Experience in certifying trainers on conducting leadership development and professional development courses

• Experience in the BPO industry

Job Description

The L&D trainer will organize and execute training and onboarding initiatives for a large workforce.

The ideal candidate will be a confident public speaker with a passion to help others succeed. He/she will have a deep understanding of adult learning principles and effective teaching methodologies. The trainer must be proficient in using technology as an educational tool and up to date with new techniques to successfully deliver training in different platforms.

Responsibilities

• Moderate onboarding sessions and facilitate foundation skills training to new hires via online and face to face

• Provide coaching, counseling and feedback to trainees and assess their performance while in the training program

• Supervise training class by assessing skills and knowledge of participants, monitoring attendance and implementing training policies and guidelines

• Create and deliver knowledge assessments to test employees’ retention and application

• Ensure that all necessary training reports are completed and filed accordingly

• Respond to trainee queries and assist where necessary; forward concerns to relevant teams

• Secure course evaluation and trainer feedback from participants for overall program assessment

• Consult with program participants, management and operational departments to evaluate impact of training program

• Calibrate with L&D team to ensure alignment of training delivery and content

• Seek and support new approaches, practices, and processes to improve the efficiency of training programs
