Work on all aspects of cost management, planning and estimating inception of project through completion;Undertake cost analysis, value engineering and budget review;Quote preparation for the client, manual take offs from construction drawings to confirm quantities, preparing variation orders, value engineering and evaluating tenders;Prepare detailed Schedule of Quantities for tendering and construction administration (measuring and estimating material and labour costs);Develop and maintain accurate cost reporting;Work on keeping the project on time and within the budget;Verify claims and payments throughout the design and contract construction stages;Undertake the valuing of variations and potential variations;Prepare and compile budget, financial reports, monthly progress claims and the like for Project Manager’s review;Contract administration including finalization of accounts, create regular status report on commercial matters, providing advice on contractual matters;Review of extension time claims;Preparation and presentation of the project update during meetingsPerform other related tasks that will be assigned from time to time.Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent;Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying works on large scale building and infrastructure projects;Knowledgeable in MS Office, GSuiteExperience in project contract administration, general business administration and project management;Has an in-depth understanding with the quality control and safety standards;Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh numerical skillsStrong attention to details and excellent organizational skills.Experience with working on construction sitesGreat time management and organization skillsAbility to read construction plans, excellent computer skills, CAD softwareSystem Requirements
