JOB DESCRITIONS:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage performance and drive results: Analyze, strategize, implement action items and motivate team to meet and exceed targets on quality, efficiency/productivity, customer and costs, if applicable. Collaborate with other internal or external support teams critical to delivering results.

Lead, coach, mentor and motivate people: As an early leader of a rapidly growing team, I coached TLs, develop people, guide them and work with them to achieve their full potential. Lead by example, resolving the toughest of issues from customers and ensuring that the team constantly performs at a high level.

Responsibility for the overall management of returned items/goods into the warehouse.

The role will include the development, performance and maintenance of the warehouse, inventory of returns/stock control to produce an efficient system and receipts solution, maximizing performance against pre-agreed targets and control.

Responsibility to staff and direct the team

– overall inventory of returns/stock control and management of the warehouse for the organization including the development, performance and maintenance of the warehouse and returns process to produce an efficient system and solution, maximizing performance minimizing loss against pre-agreed targets and controls.

– ensuring that the team understands their duties, the mechanisms of the warehouse and their role within the organization

– responsibility to adhere to budget plans

– meet your targets and those of the team and organization as a whole

– the smooth running of the team and organization as a whole

– contribute to training and development of the team and organization as a whole

– assist Line Manager to achieve maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organization plans

Day to day responsibilities agreed with your manager to include:

– manage, direct and monitor the performance of the warehouse for the organization including the development and maintenance of the warehouse, inventory of returns/stock control

and returns process to produce smooth and efficient system and delivery solution, maximizing performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets and control.

– effective liaison, support and assistance with the whole of the organization

– maintain and improve mechanisms for running the warehouse and returns process, including surveying and measuring the inventory of returns/stock control, returns process, outcomes and expenditure and disseminate feedback to the appropriate internal entities

– utilize agreed systems to manage the warehouse and stock control functions, analysis and documenting

– the development of plans for the warehouse, inventory of returns/stock control and returns process to contribute towards organization targets

– support to all other departments with related interests

– subject to agreed criteria, recruitment, training, set action and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching and general support of all team members and the organization as a whole to ensure targets are met

– reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis or as otherwise required

– assist in developing plans for team activities to include strategy to achieve targets

– delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review

– manage and maintain contact with internal and external clients/customers

– set an example for team members and organization as a whole of commitment, warehousing expertise, work ethics and habits and personal character

– maintain accurate records

– responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls

– adhere to all organization policies and procedures

– interact and co-operate with all members of the organization, its suppliers and customers

From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.

You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organization generally.
