The Culinary R&D Specialist performs work in the areas of Research and Development, for all value-added meat products, all designed to monitor and ensure that customer product requirements are met with least cost formulation/s and continual improvement is sustained in R&D operations.
Research and Development Operations
The Research and Development Specialist ensures that:
1. R&D systems are in place at all times.
2. Create novel products and ensure carcass balance through recipe creation.
3. Lower product cost and improve margins by optimizing formulations and processes of all value-added meat products.
4. Increase functionality and product applications of existing The Good Meat products.
5. Establish fresh & marinated meat standard product and process specifications for consistency and replicability.
6. Benchmark competitor’s products and create research & development plans to gain a competitive edge over the competitor.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management Major in Culinary Arts, Diploma in Culinary Arts & Technology Management, or any related courses.Fresh graduate; experience in restaurants, food service or similar institutions is a plus.
