SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER

WORK LOCATION: LIPA, BATANGAS 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Graduate of BS Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or any related courses With at least 2-3 years work experience in Quality Assurance functions in a Food Manufacturing or related industry Strong knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Basic experience with quality audits and audit hosting Good oral and written communication skillsOrganized and keen to detailsAble to follow and execute instructionsCan work independently within guidelines to solve complex problems and issues Willing to be assigned in Lipa, Batangas 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Conducts internal quality assurance auditsCoordinates, evaluates, and assists in development of action plan and follow up of quality issuesHelps facilitate customer initiated auditsCoordinate and host audits and inspectionsInspects the overall condition of the production plantParticipates in investigations of quality related issues both internally and externally (product complaints)Enforces compliance with internal procedures to ensure that established quality and process procedures are being followed at all timesReviews and approves process and quality control documentation to release product for distributionMaintains control of records and documentsEnsures regulatory compliance and updated product registrationsConducts training of all personnel on good manufacturing practices and other food safety related procedures and policiesEnsures that appropriate records and documents are properly controlledConducts weekly audit of the production area and reports findings to QA ManagerParticipates in supplier audits Performs other related tasks as needed
