OceanaGold are seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Asset Maintenance Manager to deliver on all operations aspects of our Didipio Asset Maintenance operations. Reporting to the General Manager – Didipio Operations, you will lead and manage all asset maintenance functions ensuring adherence to the highest standards of health, safety, technical, environmental, and social performance. A strong background in operational excellence, executing innovative solutions, and continually improving underground operational performance will ensure your success in this challenging and highly rewarding senior site-based appointment.

about the role
Ensure systems, processes, and efficiencies under asset maintenance are in place to achieve budget target plans;Provide technical knowledge and troubleshooting advice for determining cost-effective solutions for maintenance activities;Lead quality, cost, and productivity improvements whilst ensuring statutory compliance;Manage long-term maintenance planning to optimize equipment and mobile availability and utilization;Ensure regulatory compliance with in-country obligations including Company’s contract with the Philippines Government;Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the General Manager-Didipio Operations and other internal and external parties;Compile and manage the budget performance, recommending appropriate initiatives to achieve budget performance; andContribute productively as a member of the Site Leadership Team.about you
Twenty (20) years of experience in the mining industry together with proven cross-cultural management expertise;Demonstrate success as an Asset Maintenance Manager driving the maintenance team optimization initiatives in the social and political aspects;Behavior consistent with OceanaGold Corp.
