Role Purpose:
· The role would be part of Process-Led Consulting Practice that is being scaled up.
· The role would be of an Individual Contributor. May need to manage a team on some engagement.
· As a Process Improvement / Transformation Expert, lead and drive consulting engagements aimed at improving operational processes to achieve targeted benefits.
· Build and lead a purpose-led team that may involve team members from Technology, Data Science, Market Research and Automation experts.
· Oversee implementation (as project/program manager) of recommendations from the consulting stage (where applicable) to realize the gains envisaged.
· Research, Build and improve frameworks, methodologies, solutions that can be instrumental in
o Delivering the consulting engagements
o Securing new ones (billable engagements) by demonstrating competency, experience and thought leadership.
· The role is industry agnostic. However familiarity in service oriented industries like Insurance, Banking & Financial Services, Healthcare, Governments-Public Sector and Ecommerce is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and drive consulting engagements
o From investigating AS-IS state to defining a To-Be state aimed at improving operational processes to achieve targeted benefits. Output in such consulting engagements would typically be a Target Operating Model and a concrete roadmap for implementation.
o Plan, organize, and lead engagement to ensure the quality of client deliverables.
o Work closely with client team members to generate practical solutions and ensure clients assume the ownership required for successful implementation
· Contribute significantly to building consulting proposals / pitching for consulting work that involves Process Improvement focus.
· Research and Leverage knowledge of industry and market trends to
o Provide best recommendations to clients.
o Improve bid win for consulting opportunities
· Liaise with other teams/verticals at Datamatics on different projects as needed.
Skills and Experience:
· Experience in Delivering Consulting Engagement - significant hands on experience in
o Building roadmaps for transformation / implementation - from the AS-IS to the TO-BE process.
o Technology savvy with working exposure to Automation with RPA / AI.
o Hands on experience in making processes efficient using methodologies like Six Sigma, KAIZEN, TRIZ, Design Thinking etc.
o Building client/opportunity specific consulting delivery approach.
o Interviewing (client's employees, management team and other stakeholders), running focus groups, facilitating workshops;
o Forming hypotheses, carrying out research and data collection and analysis for identifying issues and then defining solutions.
o Ability to identify/define quantitative metrics that can be used to track improvement / benefit.
o Presenting findings and recommendations to clients;
o Confidence and capability to oversee implementation recommendations/solutions for benefit realization;
o Creating a sense of “trusted advisor” for generating more engagements
· Experience in Pre Sales:
o Creating brochures, industry reports, business presentations etc.
o Support pre-sales initiatives - bid management, created collaterals like case studies, due-diligence, business case etc
