Mechanical Engineer

JOB DEscriptION:

Assist the Engineering Manager to control and monitor progress of Mechanical design and field works by the contractorPerform review and quality checks of drawings and specifications for the design and implementation of mechanical scope of the project ensuring contractors are compliant with Project Requirements.Responsible for reviewing and approving Detailed Engineering submission from EPCM contractorCoordinate Technical approvals form Client Technical AuthoritiesConduct project coordination with PH T&S Engineering, SHIFT Operations, other project teams (Demolition, BAMBOO, Depot, etc) to resolve design and constructability issues identified during the reviewManage general site administration works including site supervision, review proposals from contractors ensuring compliance with Client's PTW, DEPs, and sound engineering principlesSupports in the management of construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.Responsible for timely resolution of technical issues (including TDs) and respond to TQsSupport all Engineering related activities (including Management Of Change)Handle interface management towards construction of mechanical discipline relatedPerform all other duties and tasks as assigned requirements:

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a licensed Mechanical EngineerMust have background working in projects. experience in Shell Projects is a big plusMust have knowledge and experience on Jetty design and Offshore Facilities.Must be familiar with Shell DEP, API (e.g. 17B, 17J), ASME (e.g. B31.3, 31.8/B31.8s), ISO (e.g.13623 19900 series), SIGGTO, and other applicable International Standards to the project.Must be proactive.Able to communicate well with stakeholders and the rest of the project teamMust be able to lead/influence the EPCMWith good moral character

Salary rate: PhP 1,300.00 - 2,683.71 per 8 hrs worked

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday / 48 hrs per week

Location: Tabangao, Batangas City
