JOB DEscriptION:
1. Quality Control
❑ Ensure the unit is CAS accepted prior to start of MEP works
❑ Conducts audit before installation of Plumbing Fixtures and Devices such as:
A. Waterline Flushing
B. De-clogging of Drains
C. Hydro Test to ensure that no leak manifests
D. Alignment & Location of Stub outs
❑ Witness and accepts system test endorsed by subcontractor for the functionality test of electrical and plumbing fixtures
A. Electrical & FDAS Testing (Live Test, Torque Test, Insulation Resistance Test & Continuity Test)
B. Plumbing, Sanitary & Fire Protection System Test (Visual & Functionality) ❑ Monitors completion of installation of wiring devices, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures and other devices for units.
❑ Ensure processed quality control records/checklists are available and adequately controlled.
❑ Attend and validate unit owner’s complaint within the warranty period.
2. Construction Management
❑ Reports recurring defects to SME/Supervisor in order to find the root cause
❑ Ensure rectification works are completed within the agreed time frame.
❑ Secures the necessary documents and/or clearances to ensures that work implemented is within schedule and according to quality standards.
3. Resource Management
❑ Monitor OSM required for Dress Up based on the BOQ or estimate for the current phase of work.
4. Subcontracts Management
❑ Conduct weekly coordination meeting with subcontractors to relay all schedules required by PIC for project completion.
❑ Monitor manpower deployed by the finishing subcontractor and ensures that the number of manpower is sufficient to accomplish the current phase of work on time.
5. Risk and Safety Management
❑ Conduct toolbox meeting to promote safety awareness on risks and hazards associated with the MEPF works.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of the Bachelor of Technical - Vocational Teacher Education Major in Electrical Technology / Bachelor of Engineering Technology - Major in Electrical Technology / BS in Industrial TechnologyAble to read and interpret plans and specifications.Ability to interact effectively with others to achieve mutual objectives; readily offers assistance to others to facilitate their goal accomplishment.Able to implement standard work sequence according to schedule tied up to the general construction ScheduleAbility to conduct and interpret the different testing requiredAble to identify different construction materials and equipment.Able to identify appropriate methods of measurement/quantification.Able to secure quotations from subcon/supplier.Able to evaluate quotations from suppliers/subcontractor accurately.Demonstrate appreciation of MEP Works.Able to identify and evaluate changes in plans and specifications.Able to collate technical data.Able to conduct basic engineering Computation.
