Job Description

 Supports the Plan & Control activities of Therm-O-Disc, Inc. Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to Inventory Management processes through data entry and collection, analysis and modelling. Ensure that all assigned skill functions meet stated business requirements. 

Responsible for establishing and maintaining several Sales and Operations reports, analyses and metrics to support division wide over all S&OP and Inventory processes. Work with OPA’s, Procurement Analysts, Site Managers, and global customer service organizations to ensure that mechanisms are in place and system structures are correct and working as expected to meet the organizational goals and objectives. Initiate and lead forecasting activities associated with Customers and Products, such as report improvements and trend analysis to support product line transfers and sales growth opportunities.

Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and has knowledge of Inventory, S&OP and MPS function and can pull off meetings for roll outs and clarifications globally

Responsibilities:

S&OP Cycle ReviewS&OP 5 Section Sheet data maintenance and update 5 Section Sheet monthly as to Bookings, actual production, actual shipments, inventory, and forecast (Units & Values).Prepare presentation slides and ensure all other S&OP-related files are updated on SharePoint prior the site reviews.Attend the Site Level S&OP meetings to provide inputs or answers on S&OP data discrepancies, demand-supply imbalance, forecast and customer issues and gather corresponding action items.Interact with both OPA’s and worldwide Customer Service on managing customer demand to help optimize production while meeting customer expectationsInitiate follow-up and completion of yearly Manufacturing and Stenciling calendars from all sites for 5Section Sheet and Oracle updatesSupport the design and implementation of a global S&OP process - ensuring the review of a feasible demand, supply, inventory plans, and service levelsProvide technical guidance/training to other Analysts including OPA’s on S&OP, Oracle and Inventory ManagementFacilitate S&OP 5 Section Sheet Review to sites with no formal S&OP reviewsSales/Demand PlanningCreate, maintain, and publish companywide forecast reports and analysis. Includes demand analysis at aggregated tier levels across the short and long-term forecasting horizonReview historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, evaluate forecast results while adhering to standardized demand planning proceduresConducts Pre-SOP demand review meetings with every level of the Organization looking at demand trends from different reportHelp the operations groups in the identification of customer finished good Kanban through demand analysisAccountable for gathering forecasts and explaining how the demand versus the forecasts affects the business unit in terms of Sales and Unit Values to make sure that the business is in right directionEnsures that the demand gets at the right Manufacturing Site and coordinated with line move timing (Regionalization) Generate reports and analysis that would show sales performance on forecasting vs actual shipments through MAPE calculationInventory PlanningGenerate and publish weekly, monthly inventory reports, according to agreed timelineCalculate Global and Site Level ABC Classification based on usage variation and cost impactPrepare Inventory Review presentation, update SharePoint workspace and coordinate necessary updates from the Site Materials ManagerAttend & support each Site's Monthly & Weekly Inventory Meetings to determine the root causes of parts that are fat and are running short, set action plans within a specific timeline and strictly follow-up what’s going onWorks directly with the Sites Plant Managers, Materials Manager, Planners, Sales, Customer Service, Engineering and other levels of the organization, to rapidly learn the system, processes, product and servicesPerform analyses to help planners in monitoring and optimizing FG performance to reduce inventory levels and ensure availabilityFacilitates Monthly Inventory Meeting and Support the weekly meetings being held per site to determine the root causes of parts that are fat and are running short, set action plans within a specific timeline and strictly follow-up what’s going onReview and Analyze FG Inventory link to S&OP and DOH policy/targets.Operations Planning – Master Production Scheduling (MPS)Create and Maintain monthly and weekly metric files, uploaded on SharePoint, to show companywide performance on On-Time Delivery reports, Performance against planned rates (PT-MPS), and Past due to CRDUpdate and maintenance of the standard Simulation files used on the MPS meetingsUpdate and maintenance of the ATP (Available to Promise) tool to help CSRs ensure proper allocation of orders according to plant capacityAttend Site MPS Meetings to provide inputs or answers on S&OP data discrepancies, demand-supply imbalance, forecast and customer issuesMaintain & update Master Demand Schedule (MDS) parameters in Oracle on a weekly and monthly basisFacilitate Site Weekly MPS meetings. Be able to ask right questions and discuss according to standard flow, focus and levelsSend out meeting notes and action item list. Ensure follow-up prior to next week’s reviewInteract with both OPA’s and worldwide Customer Service to manage customer demand to help optimize production while meeting customer expectationsSimulation Tool maintenance in terms of S&OP data updates, formulas and formatsPerform other duties and oversee special projects and assignments as assignedUpdate all corresponding process documentation for S, I & OP functionConduct user trainings on understanding the process, report logic, basic terms, timing & frequency of update

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or any 4-year Business Course or related fieldMinimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience as a material and production planner, data management and analyticsProficiency in MS Office ApplicationsKnowledgeable in database platforms such as SQL, Visual StudioStrong and articulate oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detailsMust have ability to organize and analyze multiple data sources and events into a cohesive result through the utilization of various analytical toolsMust be able to complete various data analysis tasks and build reports to be used for communication with various levels of the organization.Good communication and interpersonal skillsStrong understanding of relational database conceptsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environmentFamiliar with lean manufacturing conceptsOffice environment; must interact extensively with Manila Therm-O-Disc’s personnel, customer service, customers on an immediate basis; high stress position balancing the needs of competing groups to achieve overall company objectives.
