Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Employment Law, will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to human resources and business partners within the organization, ensuring compliance with all local labor and employment laws, and managing all employment claims against the company.
Qualifications needed:
- 5 years working in a corporate legal department handling labor and employment matters in the Philippines preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to make independent decisions and provide well-reasoned legal advice that balances legal compliance and business concerns; ability to communicate cross-functionally; ability to manage legal matters to decrease costs and mitigate company risk
- Knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations within the Philippines is required, as is familiarity with legal processes and proceedings involving employment law issues. Ability to conduct investigations and provide recommendations for risk mitigation. BPO experience strongly preferred and experience handling large caseload
- Legal degree required
