IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Improve or establish implementation standard template to meet the objective of faster and lower implementation cost. Accountable for implementation resources planning, organizing, leading and monitoring the activities of the project team as well as the successful delivery of the overall project implementation cycles.Defines and document tools and technologies used to implement HRIS applications.Ensure the implementation team has the knowledge in creating and maintaining documentation on system configuration and the functional business processes that support the system (e.g. workflows, forms, etc.)Lead, train or teach the team in performing functional business requirements gathering, use-case discovery and platform analysis.Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients and internal project stakeholders. Collaborates with the appropriate teams to develop estimates and overall implementation solution plans.Manage the Project ManagersManages project timeline, budget, risks and scope; maintains project documentation, produces status reports and communicates status to management and stakeholders on a regular basis.Ability to recognize or anticipate when a project is going off track and ensure that there are remedeies to bring back the project on course.Facilitate and moderate project meetings including bu not limited to project kick-off, team progress and issue resolution, leadership update, project close out, best pratices.Interact with SDP corporate functions such as:Sales – supports the sales team in efforts to increase sales through project scoping in process assessment, due diligence discussions/meetings, if neededTechnology/Technical – working with the Solutions Technology Manager on the 3rd party integrationsDelivery – working with the Service Delivery Team, ensuring the maintenance support resources and Service Delivery Account Management teams are adequately available and capable to support post implementation go live;HR – ensure staff’s compliance with company policiesFinance – ensure payments are on on track and no over due paymetsPeople Management responsibilities such as setting up performance goals, review/assessment, coaching and mentoring, etc.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 10 years of experience managing medium to large scale HR Systems projects of moderate to high complexity with both a business and a technology focus.Thorough understanding of application development life cycle – managing all stages of system development projectExperience managing project-orientated teams and work groups.Experience with project management, consulting role, supervising a team, experience with MS Project or similar PM tool, posses HR knowledge, ideally for a HR consulting or IT Firm.Experience with Change and Version Control System/procedures for migrating changes between system environments.Bachelor's Degree in I.T, Computers or Human Resources management.Conversant with all the Microsoft Office Programs, Words, Excel, Powerpoint, Project Management, etc.
