KEY QUALIFICATIONS 

Education : Graduate of AB Communication Arts, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or equivalent

Experience : With at least with 1 year of extensive work experience in Brand Marketing in any FMCG or food company with in-depth experience in handling Brand Marketing and New Product Innovation

Job Summary : The Brand Assistant is responsible for assisting the Brand Supervisor in driving the Fresh Dressed Chicken and Eggs such as but not limited to Consumer Insighting and Market Research, Marketing Strategy Development and Executions, Brand Communication Channel Management, New Product Development, Innovation or Brand/ Product/ Portfolio Expansion. She will likewise assist in handling all Below the Line/Trade/ Sales In-store Promotions, Events, and In-Store Merchandising. She will help out in the preparation of marketing presentation materials needed by the Brand team and Executives. She will act as a liaison between Bounty Fresh and internal departments, agencies and/or suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

I. Brand Management 

1.1 Consumer Insighting and Market Research 

∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in understanding the consumer and category behavior through market research and to be able to assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies & campaigns 

∙ Regularly conducts competitive check such as but not limited to Digital, Out-of-Home, Print, Radio, TV, In-store Competitive Price Summary per product, Trade/Supermarket Promos and Events per supermarket per competitor 

∙ Acts as liaison officer between internal departments & agencies on Fresh Dressed Chicken and Eggs requirements. 

1.2 Marketing Strategy Development and Executions 

∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in planning of marketing strategies and execution of Fresh Dressed Chicken and Eggs category.

∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in budget management and monitoring for advertising and promo expenditures for the Fresh Dressed Chicken and Eggs category.

∙ Assist in the preparation of reports/presentation materials needed by Brand Team/Executives 

1.3 Brand Communication Channel Management 

∙ Supports the Brand Supervisor in developing directions on Marketing communication together with Research, Digital and Media Agencies for brand communication plans 

∙ Coordinates and liaise with Research, Digital and Media Agencies for brand communication plans 

1.4 New Product Development, Innovation or Brand/ Product/ Portfolio Expansion ∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in new product ideation and testing of new product concepts/profiles from product development up to commercialization 

Assists the Brand Supervisor in developing pricing for the products in the retail stores 

 Assists the Brand Supervisor in the preparation of New Product Introduction Launch Plans/Campaign for commercialization 

Acts as liaison officer between internal departments or product workgroups

II. Below the Line/Events/Trade/ Sales In-Store Marketing Promotions and Events 

∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in developing and Implementing brand building promotions through tie- ups and thematic in-store promotion and activations 

∙ Closely aligns and cascades to Sales Team the new campaigns and thematic promotions 

∙ Coordinates and liaise with Sales Team regarding in-store promotions and activities including monitoring of performance 

∙ Prepares, monitors, updates and analyzes sales reports/sales performance per product 

∙ Prepares weekly reports and presentation materials/decks for Brand Team and Executives  

∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in assessing 3rd party sponsorship/partnership proposals sent to marketing 

III. Effective Merchandising 

∙ Assists the Brand Supervisor in developing and implementing in-store and outdoor merchandising until execution considering both traditional and non-traditional marketing 

∙ Closely align with Sales Team on the proper execution of in-store merchandising 

IV. Presentation Materials & Report Writing 

∙ Assist in the preparation of reports and/or presentation materials/decks needed by Brand Team and Executives  

V. And any other related tasks that may be given by the Immediate Superior
