The Role
As an HR Advisor, you will work with the HR Business Partners to manage the people management-related agenda of the internal client, specifically for first and middle-level managers in the organization. Together with the HR Business Partner, you will help lead and accomplish change management projects, implementation, and monitoring of various HR initiatives and projects aligned with the business strategy, and manages HR-related internal and external communication. As a key HR partner, the HR Advisor also shares the responsibility for the goals and targets delivery.
Together with the HR Business Partner, you will ensure that HR policies and practices are consistent with company standards and are correctly implemented to help drive new mindsets and behaviors towards a high-performing culture.
The role requires customer advocacy, coordinating with multiple teams to identify issues, the ability to set appropriate expectations around expected time to resolution and promote self-service as appropriate.
How you'll contribute
Acts as a point of contact for the employees and mid-level managers in the delivery of strategic and valued HR services through the conduct of regular meetings with people managers to achieve better productivity due to stronger HR support on targeted programs.Provides advice and counsel to line management by sharing HR policy guidance and interpretation when needed and follows through to resolution by collaborating with the internal HR team and other BU’s.Supports the Talent Management Head and HR Business Partner in implementing talent management programs and initiatives by conducting attrition analysis, participating in talent identification, career pathing, and employee movement to reduce the top and average performance attrition.Helps drive internal sourcing through promotions and transfers to improve hiring and fill-up rates.Monitors and manages the completion of all aspects of the performance management cycle by ensuring compliance of Business Units to the program to help increase individual productivity based on achievement of clearly defined KRA’sEnsures closure of employee relations issues, in collaboration with the ER team.Provides day-to-day performance management guidance through coaching, counseling and career development talks to help improve leadership engagement.Works closely with management and employees through execution of employee engagement sessions to reduce regretted attrition and increase performance and productivity.Analyzes trends and metrics together with the HR Business Partner and partners with other HR groups to develop solutions, policies that help optimize overall busines performance through analysis of employee demographics and overall HR trends.Works with SBC Academy in identifying training needs of employees and participates in the evaluation of programs to ensure success and help reduce attrition of high potentials and solid performers.What we’re looking for
With at least 2 years of HR experience in an HR Shared Service environmentHighly organized, able to effectively manage multiple priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to express empathy and patienceProven experience working cross-functionally to solve issues or concerns.Superior attention to detail.Strong relationship-building skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIntermediate to Advance skills in MS Office Applications (i.e. Powerpoint, Word, and Excel - pivot tables, formulas, graphs)Experience in managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards.
