Education
:
Bachelor's degree related to the job, preferably in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Physics. Master's degree in related fields is a plus
Experience
:
With 3 years' experience, preferably in Technical Project Management, RF frontend development, RF product development, telecom software platforms. Experience in working with community-based technological interventions is an advantage
Training
:
Sixteen (16) hours of relevant training

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong background in wireless communication systems and networks, RF/Microwave devices, RF frontend development, embedded systems development, and digital signal processing Understanding of applicable wireless technologies (e.g. GSM, UMTS, WCDMA, LTE), industry standards (e.g. 3GPP), network protocols, and process flows used in 4G LTE. Experience working with the cellular protocol stack (2G, 3G, LTE) is an advantageExperience in Technology Project Management, preferably with community-based technological intervention or technology demonstratorWorking knowledge and understanding on RF frontend hardware and systems design Strong willingness to work on experimental RF frontend systems Experience with basic lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies Experienced in using electronic CAD tools such as EAGLE, KiCad, Altium, etc. Highly knowledgeable in microwave/RF and signal processing simulation tools Experience in writing policy recommendations and/or research papers is a strong plus Has good communication and documentation skills, can work with various project stakeholders and community partners Has capability to lead a team of engineers and be able to work with administrative/project management personnelMust be willing to travel and prepare documentation and/or information prior and after the travelDuties and Responsibilities:Under general supervision and direction, he/she/they shall:
Supervise and monitor technical works and ensure on-time delivery of project milestones; Lead the coordination of component teams to ensure that development efforts are synchronized;Lead the team in developing novel and innovative solutions for present issues in the fields of RF/wireless communications for last mile connectivity; Lead the writing of technical papers for research publications;Assist the project leader in directing overall research direction of the project; Review technical specifications for the procurement of hardware and software components of the project;Supervise the writing of technical documentation, user guides, and other technical reports; Lead the writing of technical papers for research publications; Participate in events and other activities (e.g., exhibits, meetings, and seminars) necessary in the implementation of the Project;Work closely with the Project Leader/Team Leader and Project Manager regarding project plans, requirements, concerns, problems, and other matters.APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:Interested applicants should submit a letter of intent addressed to Mr. Peter Antonio B.
