Importation Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a graduate of BS Customs AdministrationMust be a LICENSED CUSTOMES BROKERWith at least 5 years of experience in Customs Administration and Brokerage, importation, Forwarding and Trading in the food and beverage industry, in a managerial capacityWith extensive knowledge in import Transactions and Operations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Develop collaborative forecasts from all key functions (Sales & Marketing, Operations, Finance and Client’s Supply Chain Department).Check and ensure all the Purchase Orders to Int’l & Local Suppliers are correct and within budget subject with final approval of General Manager and/or President.Collaborate with other departments with regards to operational procedures and costs.Execute critical and urgent purchases.Initiate procurement process improvements in terms of efficiency and costs to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.Check and Review material inventory and stock in GMA and VisMin hubs.Expand the vendor network and discover profitable suppliers.Manage vendor accreditation (supplier’s credibility and government compliance).Negotiate advantageous terms with the suppliers and consultant (esp. payment terms).Review and possibly improve existing contracts.Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and best deal for pricing and supply contracts evaluate team performance and report department's performance.Supervises and manages shipping instructions to ensure delivery times and locations are coordinated.Check Shipment Monitoring & Bookings .Manage department budgets and setting targets.Checking of Duties & Taxes of all Jaric & Other Accts Shipments.Review & Check Billings of Broker, Freight Forwarder, Shipping lines subject with final approval of General Manager.Check & Approve Fund Request Billing for Other Accounts.Check & Approve FDA CPR applications.Deal with Other Parties and Government Agencies, if necessary.Checking Accounts Receivable & Payables.Ensure that Jaric & Other accounts complies and renew with existing government clearances and permits.
