Pricing Officer

Responsibilities:

Identifies price-up and margin optimization opportunities in the different sales areas or channels that may be assigned to the incumbentAnticipates and ensures alignment of price development (until customer level) with company’s annual budget and/or game planProvides technical support in the development of price argumentation cases with the Commercial TeamClosely monitors and follows through on price improvement programs via regular and timely reports to the Pricing CommitteeEnsures reliability and integrity of price-related data in the company’s systems and digital tools, i.e., SAP, Pin-PRF, and EasybuildCoordinates with the appropriate members of the Commercial Team, especially on cross-functional projects for margin optimization and pricing modernizationNetworks with pricing and analytics experts for benchmarking, technology and methodology updates, and possible collaboration to push HPI’s price & margin management initiatives forwardUtilizes 3rd party research agencies and other external sources, making sure that data obtained are up-to-date, reliable and validatedConducts market visits and engages customers to capture new market trends and offerings, emerging pricing / business models, as well as selling and operating methods

Requirements:

College graduate, preferably with a degree in Economics, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Statistics, Behavioral Science or ResearchMust have creativity and excellent analytical abilities and excellence in planning and executionMust have the ability to use statistical software or applicationsMust have knowledge in SAP, MS Excel and PowerPoint, QlikviewPreferably with five (5) years of experience in analytics, business planning & research, market analysis, business pricing or project management
