Client: A US Home health institution is looking for candidates with experience as a Scheduler
Location: Remote (permanent work from home)

Tools needed: You MUST have your own laptop/desktop computer, a noise cancellation headset, second monitor, stable internet, and backup internet connection
Roles and Responsibilities:
Schedules patient appointments and meetings;Direct the on-call healthcare employees and ensure that they stay on task;Respond to calls within time frame;Communicating with clients regarding any schedule-related requests or changes, such as lateness, call-outs, or missed shifts;Communicating effectively with clients and caregivers for issues that will be addressed during office hours;Maintains active roster of staff including current contact information;Develops and recommends processes and procedures to benefit the Admissions Department;Provides on-call scheduling and holiday coverage as needed on rotating basis;Attends meetings, educational offerings and participates on committees;Performs other essential duties as assigned or required.Job Requirements:
Position requires a high degree of collaboration and customer service with both internal and external customers;A minimum of 1-2 years scheduling/ clinic intake experience in a healthcare setting required;Strong basic computer skills required with minimum 30 wpm typing speed;Courteous and professional communication skills required to interact with internal and external customers;Strong clerical and organizational skills needed to perform record keeping and scheduling duties;Degree in Nursing or any related filed with knowledge of Medical Terminologies;Ability to form relationships and maintain rapport with staff, clients, families, and referral sources.
