CLAIMS ASSOCIATE (Contract)
10 PM to 7 AM, Monday to Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Liaison between the shipping company’s claims team, our internal resolutions team in an event where damage or loss claims occur.
· Gathers information, researches, and works to resolve claims quickly and efficiently.
· Communicates any problem resolution steps appropriately to the returns and replacements departments.
· Assists with department goals, and makes recommendations to Claims Manager, to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
· Review, file, dispute, and close claims in compliance with carrier contracts.
· Takes ownership of any claims assigned; a strong willingness to follow up with the freight company until the issue is fully resolved.
Responsibilities described may change over time and additional responsibilities may be added or modified over the course of employment to meet the needs of the business.
