By joining us as a Senior Analyst, Freight Bill Audit, you will be able to apply your knowledge in Freight Bill Auditing as well as implement Freight Audit programs in the Emerson. You will also support the Supply Chain Optimization Program in terms of order creation, attend to business unit's inquiries and providing training to internal and external customers. You will also be responsible in also responsible in maintaining databases and logistics tools, gather data in order to perform analysis for a specific mode and/or supplier for identifying and implementing value add activities such as cost reductions, innovation, risk management, and others within the supply chain. You will also be providing comprehensive analytics support to senior team members of the group in support for complex projects or activities. Perform ad hoc and project-spend analysis and reports with equal emphasis placed on the ability to identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Perform automated and manual audit of freight invoices including expert resolution of freight invoices for ad hoc transactions and project shipments. From gathering of supporting documents, analyzing scope of work, validation of quotations and approval based on Emerson acceptable terms and conditions.Approve transaction or freight invoices needing review and which are not auto processed by investigations, identifying issues, and offering suggestions on how to improve processing to reduce inaccurate and problematic issues.Execute reconciliation of invoices as billed by service providers against those that were reviewed through the audit program.Lead the implementation Freight Bill Program to identified Business Units or sitesAnswer escalations and serves as back-up for payment issues. Conduct gap analysis and monitor site approval performance and implement corrective actions at the site level and carrier level when needed.FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics/ Transportation Management, Customs Administration. Finance or Accountancy or other related disciplineAt least 4 years related experience in supply chain/logistics functions (e.g., forwarding, transportation management) or supply chain/logistics analytics (i.e., data mining, manipulation, analysis, and reporting)Can understand/interpret technical documents such as shipping documents, carrier contracts & logistics terminologiesCan perform quality audits on reports produced by junior analystsHas experience in analyzing data in different formats and finding commonalities or discrepancies and can identify data trends, gaps or significant changes and make recommendations based on the resultsAble to implement improvements to existing pricing processes, reports or formsAble to create, design and develop reports in Excel or PowerPoint formatKnowledge in supply chain/ logistics functions, terminologies and industryBasic understanding of MRP, ERP and Logistics systems and toolsBasic knowledge of Ariba systemBasic understanding in project managementWHO YOU ARE:
