The Technical Writer is responsible for generating innovative ideas for content while working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The position research products, technologies, or concepts to be documented and easily understood by a broad audience.
Responsibilities:
- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for reader comprehension.
- Generate innovative ideas for content.
- Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
- Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills in English
