As a House Manager, you’ll be overseeing and managing the household completely. You will have various duties such as managing staff by training and supervising them, organizing, and monitoring the maintenance of the property and managing the household inventories, administrative duties such as budgeting, paying bills, and managing household schedules. In some instances, you’ll be asked to arrange entertainment on social events, and make travel/holiday arrangements. There are other duties as well such as:
· Supervise and train staff, provides orientation to new employees and participate in the training and evaluation of assigned staff.
· Manage the day-to-day operation of the house to ensure that daily household chores and activities are carried out.
· Ensure that all materials and supplies needed for the home are available.
· Initiate disciplinary procedures.
· Provide a safe, healthy, and clean environment for the individuals and function at all times to ensure the health, safety, and emotional welfare of the individuals.
· Maintain a professional, positive attitude
· Keep individual inventory up to date
· Always maintain the health and safety of the individuals
· May also act as personal assistant to individuals when needed
