OSM is currently looking for an individual who will be responsible for arranging all the documentation requirements of our seafarers and assist in their deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Scanning and documentation
Responsible for scanning all documents.File and arrange documents in black folder according to checklist.Responsible for ensuring that all black folders are complete and placed in the designated area.Update document attachments in eCrew based on competence matrix, personal information and other necessary requirements.Update the team regarding the document status.Processing of Flag State Requirements
Prepare Flag State requirements of seafarers (e.g. NIS, IOM, Swedish mustering, CRA’s endorsement etc.)Training Coordination
Endorse seafarers to Training Department for mandatory trainings in accordance to competence matrix.Crew Coordination
Ensure all documents are valid prior departure of seafarers.Prepare POEA contract and ensure SRC and pertinent information are valid before submittingcontracts to Processing Department.Assist seafarers in upgrading and renewal of their documents (PRC licences, Tesda certificates, NBI, medical etc.).Coordinate with Visa & Travel Department regarding requirements needed for seafarer’s visa application.Monitor flight bookings and keep seafarers updated regarding schedule.Prepare Breakdown of Wages and Allotment Summary of Seafarers.Update information of seafarer in eCrew.Order working gears and issue to seafarers before departure.Dispatch seafarers according to schedule.Who we are looking for
