RESPONSIBILITIES:General Legal Environment and Regulation - Ensures compliance by the parent company and all its affiliates with all relevant national and local laws, rules and regulations affecting the various facets of operations (i.e. affecting construction, property management, leasing, sale and purchase of real estate, sale of condo units, labor and social legislation, trademarks protection and regulation)Contracts and documents Management - documents all transactions entered into by the parent company and its affiliates by way of enforceable and valid contracts vis-à-vis suppliers, contractors, buyers, retail partners, consultants, financial institutions, joint ventures etc.Litigation - Undertakes or oversees the litigation of various cases including the parent company and its affiliates.Undertakes measures to minimize if not altogether avoid legal risks.Internal and External Coordination - Assists and advises all divisions of the parent company and its affiliates in all legal issues and concerns, and provide speedy feedback. Resolves legal issues and concerns affecting any division.Corporate Regulation - Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations governing listed companies and ordinary companies.Various reporting compliances to the SEC and PSE for listed and non-listed companies.QUALIFICATIonSMust be a graduate of BS Accountancy, Finance-related courses or Legal ManagementWith at least two years of experience in complianceKnowledgeable with SEC, BIR and other government agencies' regulationsComputer literateWilling to do field work
