Place of Assignment: To be assigned in PAMAMARISAN CASTO. Management of the Community Empowerment thru Science and Technology (CEST) in the CASTO.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of any Science Course preferably related to social science such as social work, sociology, community development.With at least one (1) year of relevant experience is an advantage.With at least four (4) hours of relevant training is an advantage.Experience in community organization and development is an advantage.With basic knowledge on project proposal and technical reports preparation.Has experience in analysis and presentation of data using programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.With excellent analytical skills.Proficient in oral and written communication.Organized and can work with minimum supervision.Skills in photo and video/graphic design software is an advantage.Highly motivated, a team player and can work in a fast-paced environment.Preferably resides in PAMAMARISAN or near Mandaluyong City or willing to commute within the clustered area.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program management of CESTAssists in the activities that covers the PAMAMARISAN (Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, San Juan) Clustered Area Science and Technology Office (technology transfer, community-based project, S&T events, organized training/seminar; technical consultancy services).Provides technical, administrative, and operational support in all activities to be conducted in the Clustered Area.Conducts project site visits to CEST Communities, Community-based enterprises, barangays and to other related projectsDrafts technical reports based on project visits/meetingsAssists in the implementation of Regional Grants-in-Aid Program (RGIA) and other special projects (Spearheading Assists on the monitoring of CEST, RGIAPerforms other functions that may be assigned by the Regional Office from time to time.The DOST-NCR observes the Equal Employment Opportunity Principle (EEOP).
