Responsibilities:
- Research on existing communities to see where Pub Co can play in/which passion points are relevant to the media brands’ audiences
- Ideation, creation and implementation of posts and/or prompts on Pub Co-owned Communities, whether organic or sponsored
- Copywriting of posts and/or prompts on Pub Co-owned Communities
- Staying up to date on community features, execution possibilities and the like
- Ensures that all content released are aligned with the voice/ style of media brands, and follows Pub Co content calendars
- Accepting and filtering of members, if applicable, on Pub Co-owned channels
- Filtering of and responding to public comments to increase engagement on Pub Co-owned channels
- Responding to direct and/or private messages sent through social media platforms
- Sharing and proper tagging of all paid (branded and sponsored) content on all applicable Pub Co-owned social media platforms and/or communities
- Occasionally assists Multimedia Artist in the creation of social media assets
- Creates monthly reports on the status of Pub Co communities, including insights and recommendations. Provides Data Analyst with data on paid (branded and sponsored) content, if and when necessary
- Trends listening; suggestion of possible content to produce based on trends seen on social media
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication or Marketing or related field, preferred
- Has work experience in social media community management, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
- Copywriting skills
- Understanding of audience/follower behavior on social media
- Detail-oriented and can work with a flexible schedule
- Understanding of SEO is a plus
- Has experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects
