Job Responsibilities
Responsible for new business generation and maintenance of existing business in the assigned sales area which handles Mining, Power, Construction, Manufacturing, Transport and/or Resellers.
Ensure implementation and attainment of General Trade key metrics particularly the sales volumes, credit management and profitability targetsRegular monitoring of General Trade sales activities in your assigned sales area which should be directed towards achieving objectivesDemonstrate good business sense and teamwork resulting to efficiency and productivityConsistently update and work closely with Management on market information such as trends, business development and value proposition that are relevant to the General Trade business, strategies and growthSustain the company’s good image through consistent implementation of Quality Customer Service to all internal, projects and investmentsWork within the approved Operating and Capital Expense budgets by monitoring and recommending cost-effective projects and investmentsOptimize utilization of equipment loaned to its customers including regular safety audit and inventory. Also ensures that all investments are covered by Sales Contracts.Assists in initiating synergy and coordination meeting with other sales teams/ channels and support groups to solve constraints on pricing, logistics and financial documents for our clientsRegular updating to the General Trade Manager on the business developments, competitive info, critical success and support factors which are geared towards business growth, systems improvement and productivityprompt submission of completed staff work including effective implementation of special projects assignedQualifications
Degree in Business or EngineeringSales experience in petroleum, industrial or chemicals is an advantageHighly adaptive to a dynamic sales and marketing environmentExcellent communications, interpersonal, and leadership skillsShould be customer service oriented, with effective negotiating and influencing skillsMust be willing to travel if needed
