The Channel Marketing Manager is a highly motivated and resourceful member of the ASEAN Marketing team. The person will cover:
1) Philippines Field Marketing role - Support the local sales & channel team via alignment of marketing programs to country business growth plans and end to end execution of go-to-market programs to create demand, pipeline and awareness.
2) Partner Marketing for ASEAN - Responsible for managing and developing a consistent operating framework and strategic partner marketing programs across the ASEAN partner ecosystem.
Responsible for working with the ASEAN Channel Director and JAPAC Partner Marketing team to develop dedicated ASEAN programs that will drive pipeline, enablement and thought leadership/ awareness.
Philippines Field Marketing Responsibilities:
● Research and define market opportunities and requirements for the local market and develop a clear integrated marketing plan for the country.
● Work with regional marketing team, sales leaders, channel managers to implement marketing plans in support to country business growth plans
● Engage the partner ecosystem to execute channel marketing and enablement initiatives, including support for channel partners, distributors, system integrators, alliance partners, Cloud Service Providers and Managed Security Services Partners.
● Drive solid marketing operation practices including: reporting, planning, budgeting, procurement, vendor management, CRM, leads management and marketing automation.
● Collaborate with wider JAPAC marketing team, PR & Comms, Subject Matter Experts in planning and rolling out programs for the country
● Communicate program status, action items, results, and deliverables across marketing and sales.
● Develop customer advocacy
● Report, measure and track the execution of country marketing programs:
- Achieve marketing ROI targets
- Ownership of control and tracking of country field marketing budget
ASEAN Partner Marketing Responsibilities:
● Develop strategic Go-to-Market plans for GSI, Cloud Service Providers and Managed Security Services Partners, in conjunction with the JAPAC & global partner teams to ensure delivery of effective and consistent worldwide partner & alliances programs
● Work with Field Marketing Managers to ensure programs are executed flawlessly with key distributors, channel partners, system integrators, alliance partners, and other companies in the Networks partner ecosystem.
● Work closely with JAPAC partner marketing team to manage/ localize the development of marketing programs and initiatives that cater to the ASEAN markets
● Work with Field Marketing Managers to ensure comprehensive and effective use of Marketing Development Funds (MDF) to deliver pipeline objectives, including operational processing and compliance
● Report, measure and track the execution of partner marketing programs and initiatives for ASEAN:
- Achieve marketing ROI targets
- Ownership of control and tracking of MDF
- Ownership of all partner communication
● Develop partner advocacy
Job requirements:
● Proven track record executing multi-faceted event and demand generation programs.
● Excellent interpersonal skills.
● Ability to provide consultative input to senior sales leaders.
● Solid understanding of business management and operations, including finance/revenue/pipeline principles.
● Able to engage customers and partners in dialogue about their business needs and security solutions.
● Excellent written and verbal skills, and hands on experience
● Moderate technical and strategic understanding of technology, security, and industry solutions being marketed.
● Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.
Experience:
● Relevant work experience with a B2B hi-tech/ software company for minimum 7 years.
