Position Purpose
GBS Compliance & BCP Manager manages governance of document management system, compliance and BCP procedures for GBS organization.
The role is responsible to manage the Compliance & BCP framework of process documentation, assuring timely reviews and updates of knowledge repository
The incumbent provides comprehensive JSOX & Business Continuity Testing and educates GBS employees on frameworks to support GBS compliance and BCP including JTI Corporate policies, JTI Operating guidelines, Preventing Financial Crime Policy, GDPR.
Main Areas of Responsibility
GBS Guardian of the Global Compliance & BCP framework
Ensures overall GBS Compliance & BCP Management documentation framework and Standards are implemented and complied with relevant requirements.Manages change management process for the GBS compliance & BCP process documentation and internal controls ensuring integrity.Process Control
Governs the GBS in ensuring that any new processes or changes to existing processes are in complete compliance with the Global Quality framework requirements (e.g. JSOX, SAP roles, documentation).Performs regular audits of the framework and ensures that any remediation points are dealt with in a timely manner.Ensure regular reporting and information is escalated to the GM, the Compliance Officer & BCP Head and other management as required and coordinates any other relevant mattersCompliance
Drives compliance to specific JSOX controls with GBS control ownersActs as the GBS JSOX Coordinator as defined by FCGCoordinates and supports internal and external audit and management walk throughs.Drives Compliance related education programs on an ongoing basis for GBS Employees.Governs and supports compliance initiatives as required for the local GBS with direction from the Corporate Compliance Lead(Preventing Financial Crime Police / One Change Management, Code of Conduct, GDPR)Business Continuity Planning
Facilitates and supports development and maintenance of a business continuity plans and procedure; Reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and procedures.Conducts risk assessments for various departments and functions, analyzing potential business impact of unpredictable GBS processes interruptions due to different possible reasons, like IT service outage, skilled people unavailability, premises unavailability, extreme weather, major cyberattack, etc.Conducts initial, maintains and updates existing, Business Impact Analysis (BIA) for each department to identify critical business processes, resources and dependencies, consolidates BIA results into JTI BIA portal.Creates and facilitates practice rehearsal drills for Business Continuity Plan test execution.Identifies and proposes business continuity activities and methods to ensure business continuity in the disruptive event.Develops and provides staff training and awareness on business continuity plan, risk management and disaster recovery.Works with health, safety, and security staff and local, state, and federal agencies to align the organization’s emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards.Other initiatives

Bachelor’s degree (e.g., in Economics or Business Administration, Engineering or Science) Compliance & BCP study preferred.Experience in a multinational company for a minimum of 5 years in a similar position, ideally experience relevant to GBS.Computer Skills (MS Office incl. Advanced excel),Fluent English (written and spoken)Strong level of business understandingPrior experience with quality assurance and document control processesStrong leadership mindset, empathy to understand different perspectives towards a specific situationSomeone that can think outside the box and holistically evaluates the solution space to a problemStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.
