The Credit Review Associate assists in the periodic review of loan documents and processes on outstanding loan customers to determine that the original credit facility was extended in accordance with bank policies and sound credit principles and to ensure non-deterioration of the creditworthiness of the borrower.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Credit Review Functions - Checks the following:
Appropriate processing of loan applicationProper loan approval, including compliance with internal policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and sound credit principlesSufficiency of credit and collateral documentation and proper lien perfectionAdherence to loan covenantsMonitoring of the bank’s management of the loan accounts, evidenced by call reports, latest financial statements, and communications with the borrowerEconomic and industry developments that may affect particular loans accountsConducting Credit Risk Rating validationJOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of BS Accountancy, Financial Management, Banking, and Finance, or related fieldexperience and/or training in lending operations is a plus.To be successful in this role, you need to be:
Proficient with Microsoft ExcelFamiliar with data query/data management toolsExperienced with statistical analysis and financial forecastingAttentive to detail and has the ability to identify data patternsGood verbal and written communication skillsInclined to becoming up-to-date with industry and economic updatesGood in teamwork
