The Role
As a Junior Portfolio Strategist, you are responsible for the investment strategies of the Wealth Managers. You are expected to drive a proper mix of products to maximize revenues and support overall sales & profitability targets.
How you'll contribute
Assists the Wealth Manager in crafting & preparing investment strategies for specific customers based on long-term goals & objectives and customer risk profileCoaches & mentors Wealth Managers on market trends, product knowledge, portfolio allocation & rebalancingEnsures that rebalancing & churning of investment holdings are in accordance with the customer’s long-term objectives and risk profileEnsures that documentation of investment is complete before execution of a tradePrepares daily market updates to be sent to the Wealth Manager Team and conducts regular huddles and meetings with the Wealth Manager TeamWhat we’re looking for
Bachelor's Degree graduate in the fields of Business, Finance, Economics, Math, or Statistics preferably with MBA or Master of Finance or EconomicsChartered Financial Analyst certification is a preferenceShould have at least three years in the investments business (Trust, Treasury, or Brokerage)Must have mathematical and analytical capabilitiesShould be detail-oriented and innovative
